Baby cot beds blog
I love reading blogs. It"s one of my favourite ways of spending free time. Of course, I don"t know all these people personally. Some of them live in remote places and I will probably never have a chance to meet them. But I just love reading about people"s lives, careers, interests. I also enjoy reading their opinions on various subjects. I think it also develops me as a person. Anyway, a couple of days ago I came across a fantastic blog that belonged to a middle aged man from Canada. He makes a living by making cot beds and other furniture items. The man lost his job as a factory worker a couple of months ago so he decided to open his own business. Finally he can do something he really loves! And he has been an amateur woodworker for years. Now, he can become a professional. I love the way he writes about his job. How much time it takes him to design and make an object, how much patience and skill he has to have to finish off all the necessary details. After all, a baby bed is not a coffee table or a bathroom cabinet. It has to be foolproof, sturdy, and, what"s most important, safe. Making cot beds is not easy at all! You have to know all the standards and safety rules. The man also makes chairs, armchairs, chests of drawers and... musical instruments. It"s all very interesting, but perhaps I will write more about it some other time.
